Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a match?
From the home screen, tap NEW MATCH. Enter your team
names, choose your stat mode (Basic, Match Stats, Advanced, or Skill
Development), and turn on Player Tracking if you want to attribute
stats to individual players.
What's the difference between Basic and Advanced modes?
Basic Mode tracks scores and the match timer only —
perfect for referees or when you just need a scoreboard.
Advanced Mode unlocks full stat tagging: shots,
kickouts, turnovers, tackles, frees, and pitch heatmaps.
Can I export stats and match reports?
Yes. Every saved match can be exported as a PDF with match recap,
pitch maps, and full stat breakdown. Season and player-level stats are
also exportable.
How does the free trial work?
New users get 30 days of full premium access when they sign up. No
payment details required upfront. You'll receive banner reminders on
days 27, 29, and 30 of your trial. If you don't subscribe, the app
reverts to the free tier features and your saved matches remain
viewable.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iOS:
Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → BRDY Performance →
Cancel. On Android:
Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → BRDY Performance →
Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing
period.
Can I use BRDY Performance for sports other than GAA?
The current build is optimised for Gaelic games (football and
hurling), but the match tagging, player tracking, and analytics engine
work for any team sport. Sport-specific templates for rugby, soccer,
and other codes are on the roadmap.
Do you offer discounts for clubs or coaching groups?
Not yet — but club and group licensing is planned. If you're
interested, email us at
brdy.performance@gmail.com
and we'll add you to the waitlist.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your match data is stored securely and only accessible by
you. We don't sell data to third parties. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
I found a bug or have a feature request. What should I do?
Email
brdy.performance@gmail.com
with a description of what you experienced (or what you'd like to
see). Screenshots are a big help. We read every message and prioritise
fixes based on impact.
